    "Integral Communications for Sustainability"

Here is a suggested discussion question for Barrett Brown’s "Integral Communications for Sustainability" (originally published in Kosmos Journal). As time goes on and we get a groove going as applied integral practitioners, we might moderate the forum more or less intensely with fewer or more questions. For now you can think of these questions as suggestions and we'll see how it goes from there. I’ve tried to lean the questions towards real-world application instead of theoretical analysis, but theory talk is welcome here as well.

You’ll note that Barrett has given new names to the Spiral Dynamics levels (or perhaps Ken’s altitude) that are tailored to Sustainability and Ecology: Eco-Gaurdian, Eco-Warrior, etc. Can anyone think back to when they embodied one of these eco-selves? What was life like for you then? What do you remember thinking, feeling, and communicating about the environment? Is being aware of your own development of care and concern for the environment useful when communicating your current views with others?
