Fairyfaye, okay, here it is.

The idea was inspired by modern scientific view -or more to the point, perhaps "scientism." Think of Einstein (sp?) who said "questions, questions, questions and more questions. Question everything" etc.

3rd person ? 's will go on forever. They will never end. But in the Causal and Nondual state, it simply is not even possible for ?'s to arise. It's not that the answer is even obvious or right "before you;" there is just simply no possibility, or even reason, to ?

The ! is actually even inaccurate, becasue it implies, ultimately, a duality, but I did find it a useful idea to make the point.

The thing asking all the ? ? ? ? is simply the answer itself.

wow speaking of questions, don't u just LOVE the questions patrick asks (on the mandala of awakening clip at isc) because they are the exact questions we are all asking

who am i ? what is this world i find myself in ? how to understand it ? how to look at it ? how to perceive it ? what is it to be human ?

what are these thoughts ? what are these assessments of the world ? how to relate to them ? what to identify with ? what to let go of ?

how radical can i actually get in looking at this phenomena ? how deeply can i drop into this very life ?
