    Re: Brighton UK

    Thanks iiadmin

Good to be here... Been waiting for the Multiplex for soooo long. :)

You've done a great job here, such a massive set of sites, integrated beautifully.

As a web publishing professional I know just hard hard it is to launch something like this, you all deserve several large sakis  :)

Well done, and keep it up

Looking forward to turning Brighton turquoise (it's a lot like Boulder in many ways)

    Keep on keeping on

    V.

Wow, Vajrayogini, 16 posts already! Thanks for showing up so vividly (though I'd expect nothing less from a yogini!).

(Thanks also for the beautiful photos. I hope you turn Brighton the same shade of Turquoise as those amazing bluebells ...)

    Hi Vajrayogini!

I don't know anything about Brighton, how it is like Boulder?

    Svein

PS Do you have a background in vajrayana? I have.

    Re: Brighton UK

    Hi Svein

I've never been to Boulder (!!!) so I'm only judging on my own interior view and a few musings of others.

Brighton, UK, is very small - 200,000 people - but in terms of traditions and spirituality then it's the most diverse place in the UK I'd say (outside of  London)

We've got Vipassana people, Insight people, FWBO people, NKT people, Zen people, Shambhala people... and that's just the Buddhist groups! And I've missed some!

It's a lively, arty city, with two universities and lots of bright-young-things. It's warm, sunny and by the sea.

I LOVE it (if you hadn't guessed) and you are invited to visit any time!  :)

Vajrayana? Yes. How about we start a Vajrayana thread to discuss?

hee... thanks Jeff. Those bluebells were captured on a mobile phone believe it or not.

More photos to come, my Leica is in a repair shop in Germany but it'll be back soon!

    Can't wait.

    Thanks for your friendship

Oh really?  What's your name, what do you post under?

I'm planning to try and get down on the 14th July, a friend of mine is running an ILP group.  But my schedual is a bit stupid at the moment, so not sure I can spare the time.  I'll forward on the details to you if your interested?

    Re: Brighton UK

I guess we have a mutual friend in Gary then!?

I've not met him actually, but we've corresponded and I'm definitely up for the ILP group.

    See you there I hope.

There is also a Brighton Integral Circle forming... more about that soon but I thought I'd mention it here just in case there are some locals lurking.

Hope to see you on the 14th.

    Re: Brighton UK

Yes! I did it. I've been  trying to post all day. Well, that's a little bit of an exageration but you get my drift. And now even though I may be writing to my good self I am officially a part of the Brighton I-I forum. Delighted I am.

    Great to be on board.

    Hey Dillie

Three cheers for your first posting,
And 108 cheers for Integral in Brighton!

We're planning on setting up a 'Brighton Integral Circle' for people who are interested in meeting up, having discussions, helping each other with ITP, and so on. We may even get some Integral teachers on occasions... I've already got one guy lined up to do some "shadow workshops".

I've got some documents about 'how to set up a salon' and I'm planning on absorbing them this weekend so we can do it as AQALly as possible ... and there are already 6 people for the first meeting, this coming Tuesday.

Send me an email, michaelrose@hell.com, if you want more details.

    Delighted to meet you.
