What's the difference between that and what's going on now?

  • Re: Banish Helene to 7th Circle for Spamming, Please

I think at this point....the point is moot. She WON! She tested us, she tested them. We, for the most part, stood against it, I-I tolerated it. Speaks volumes. I came because I believed. Now I know better. I think this is going to be my last post here for a while, and perhaps, forever. I'm done. Adios -V

  • Re: What IS Ken Wilber's Game Plan?

Does he have a game plan? By asking what it is, I can only assume you think he has one, but don't think you know what it is. It could be to merely spread awareness. On the other hand.....

  • Re: Ex-elephant not in the polling booth this time

Gita, I don't think there are any ''good'' democrats or republicans. I'm not a member of either party. I'm also not the guy that pulls the switch for one party or the other across the board. I generally put alot of thought into how I vote. I've always classified myself an as independent. That doesn't mean I always agree with their platform ...

  • Re: no way to Aniston playing Ken's wife

I'd tend to agree. I thought all the characters were terribly mis-cast, myself. Cruise and Pitt? C'mon! Generally, I think Pitt is a pretty good actor (I like him in Legends of the Fall, and A River runs through it, and Seven), but this? Um, no thanks.

Faye, don't hold your breath for a response. The engines on, the car is in gear, but there is no one driving.

  • Re: Ex-elephant not in the polling booth this time

Good Lord! I don't think the Bush-republican ticket is the answer, but I believe the same thing about thing about Gore, Barrack, Hillary answer. I wouldn't vote for anyone mentioned in your post, Gita. Having said that, I usually vote AGAINST someone more so than for someone. I say fuck the GOP, and the DNC. Let's get people in office that ...

  • Re: Biased Press in the United States

Man, I must have been tired... Yes, Fox New is generally considered a conservative leaning news organizaton. I wouldn't say the same thing about CNN though. Generally speaking, it should be possible for people to present the news without letting their political views interfere with thier storytelling. How hard is it to just keep to the facts ...
