Christmas Message from Br. David - May we, through stillness, find peace...
Fr. Thomas & Br. David in Dialogue at ICC - Service in the world: Finding a vocation
Dear Friends of ISC,
I'm writing from Boulder, Colorado, where we have been blessed (almost too much so!) with a white Christmas. The snow falls gently from heaven to the earth, and in the stillness, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude for the community that has grown up around ISC.
We are thankful beyond words for your exquisite, virtual presence on this site; for the incredible discussions on the IS Concalls; for those who joined us for ISC2, Father Thomas, Terry Patten, and John Kesler events and the Integral Contemplative Christianity seminar; for the outpouring of love for Ken during his recent illness.
As I reflect on the Nativity Story, I'm struck by its relevance for us today, regardless of our spiritual path. This night, again, the Divine seeks a home; and somehow, again, there is no room at the inn. May we who have come together in this community be open ever more deeply to the Mystery around us, between us, within us; may the Divine truly be born in us this day!
And if you would like to take a moment to wish someone you Love, how about lighting a candle? Please click here to join in this beautiful practice.
A most Blessed Christmas to One and All,
Rollie Stanich and Nomali Perera @ ISC
