• Re: Yoga, Meditation and Feeling Freaky

My 2 cents- maybe try a meditation practice with open eyes so it's more in touch with relative world. Or you can try perhaps Qigong, in a group, in a setting like a park if you can find- this often feels very safe and grounded- with people, outside in nature, easygoing...:)

  • Re: Mantak Chia

Hi there, I do have an interest in all things Taoist- and Chia's books are the kind of stuff that inspires me.HOWEVER, I must admit that from the wealth of information he presents- and the style in which it is presented- it left me with more questions than answers, more confused than clear-headed.I also agree with the previous comment made, that ...

  • Re: What does senility look like?

I didn't know you are from WA. I lived there (In Perth) for almost two years, and have there the only relatives that for me are worth keeping in touch with. It was the easiest place for me to make friends.

Just a quick reply to livingegg- thanks for your advice and I will try some excercise like that. However I am far too self-aware to act out as needy. • Re: Please help me!! am quite desperate

Thanks K\Ressurected I consider you my brother . This weekend I am strongly resisting suicidal acts.It began one night when I was plainly missing my mother (died of a vicious brain cancaer when I was 17). Then I was saddened at the complete lack of my remaining family member to be there for me. I know everyone has problems with their ...

  • Re: Please help me!! am quite desperate

Any reply I see is heartwarming and yours is no exception...I think you are not off base at all. Actually, you are probably more precise in your way of describing this mechanism. However, in regards to: ''Untangling the chatter-minded intellectual mess that follows doesn't change anything, except to maybe make you more aware of the fact that you ...
